Shipping & Returns

Our Cookie orders are mailed out every Wednesday. Order cut-offs are on the previous day (Tuesday) by noon PST. If you'd like your cookies for a special event, please consider the time of your order and your delivery location, as we only ship out on Wednesdays. We cannot hold an order and wait to ship for a customer's future event.

SHIPPING:  We always recommend next day air or 2nd day air delivery,  especially on East Coast orders.  We do not use any preservatives and if there are extreme weather changes during shipping, that can change the structure or freshness of our treats.

HOLIDAY SHIPPING: Due to the nature of our handcrafted product, orders may be shipped out no more than 10 days after you place your order.

CUSTOM ORDERS:  We would love to bake custom orders for you.  Due to seasons and how busy we are in the kitchen, this is not always possible although please email us!  Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to provide us with the correct date that custom orders will be fulfilled.  If a custom order's date changes, the customer will be charged with a minimum of 20% change or rush fee of the total order.  We often do not require signed contracts for our custom cookie orders, however we do refer to email exchanges as confirmation of specific dates.

PLEASE NOTE: We always recommend customers choose Next Day Air Delivery shipping.  It is a more expensive option.  Right now during Covid, UPS is not guaranteeing delivery, as disappointing as that is, you can read more about their policies here.  Ground shipping can take up to 8 days to arrive.  Ground shipping in California usually takes 2 days to arrive although can take up to 8 days to arrive* 

SHIPPING ADDRESSES:  Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to enter the correct shipping address.  We cannot refund or replace items that we shipped out to the address that the customer incorrectly inputs.  So please make sure you enter the correct address that you would like the items delivered to.

COOKIE BREAKAGE QUERIES:  We cannot return or refund broken cookies if the customer chose ground shipping, so order at your own risk.  If you want to ensure your cookies arrive in perfect condition, we recommend spending the extra money on next day air.  If the customer chooses next day air delivery and their cookies arrive cracked, we will offer a new free batch of cookies.

ORDERING FOR A SPECIFIC DATE: Please make sure you place your order in advance.  If you are ordering for a specific date, we always recommend next day air delivery, especially for East Coast orders.  Make sure you give at least 2 days arrival before the date you want to receive.  If you choose Ground shipping and are located outside of California, it could take a week for your cookies to arrive.  For example : if choosing ground shipping and you’d like your cookies to arrive on Saturday the 20th and you’re located in Tennessee, then place your order by Tuesday the 9th at noon, so they will ship out on Wednesday the 10th and arrive on Tuesday the 16th. All items are shipped from Los Angeles, CA via UPS.  Orders of 1 dozen cookies will be shipped in clear boxes with a sticker. 

At this time, orders cannot be shipped to a PO BOX address, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and outside the United States.  

You must provide a valid street address for your order, including apartment numbers, suites or floor numbers. We are not responsible for delays resulting from incorrect or undeliverable addresses.  We are not responsible for packages stolen or lost in transit. 

Please note that we cannot change your shipping address once your order has been placed.

Shipped orders will not require a signature to complete delivery, and will be left at the delivery address if no one is available to receive the package. 



We ship via UPS using Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3rd Day Air or Ground delivery. We are not responsible for delays caused by UPS or FedEx due to weather or mechanical error and are not able to offer refunds for those reasons.


Shipping and handling charges apply to each address where an order is shipped, based on the current published UPS rates. Shipping costs will be automatically calculated when making your purchase.

*Please read UPS website to ensure your shipping time frame matches with their policies.  For example: if you choose ground shipping, most likely your order will arrive within 3-5 business days but if for some reason UPS holds your shipment at a holding facility, the length of delivery may take longer and in no way is the fault of LORIA.  


Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with Tracking Information from UPS directly, and you’ll be notified again if there are any unexpected delays while your package is in transit.


All sales are final.

We do not accept returns.

US Shipping : We ship all items via UPS. Once an item is shipped, we are no longer responsible.

We do not refund for packages lost in transit or that arrive late due to weather conditions.

We are unable to refund or replace stolen packages or unretrieved packages that have been confirmed as delivered.

Please ensure your delivery address is correct and secure.

We are not responsible for items not received due to an incorrect or an incomplete shipping address.



Orders including birdseed bread will ship out on Friday.  Cut offs for birdseed bread are the same-- Tuesday at noon.  We do no add preservatives to our breads or buns so please choose next day air delivery or 2nd day air delivery so that your fresh bakes arrive safely and good.
